ABOUT DR. CLARK

A native of Corpus Christi and a graduate of W.B. Ray High School, Dr. Clark began practicing orthopaedics in Corpus Christi in 1979, after spending 2 years as an orthopaedic surgeon in the United States Air Force at Elgin Air Force Base in Florida. Since coming to Corpus Christi, Dr. Clark has served as Chief of Staff at Doctor’s Regional Medical Center, and Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery at Christus Spohn Shoreline Hospital and Memorial Medical Center.

Dr. Clark earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, graduating with honors. He completed his orthopaedic surgery residency at the Campbell Clinic in Memphis, Tennessee. While he practices general orthopaedic surgery, Dr. Clark also has a special interest in sports medicine and arthroscopic surgery.

A Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Dr. Clark is also a member of the American Medical Association, the Texas Orthopaedic Association, the Sports Medicine Society of Texas, and the Texas Medical Association. He has staff memberships at Christus Spohn Shoreline Hospital, Christus Spohn South Hospital, Doctor’s Regional Medical Center, Driscoll Children’s Hospital, South Texas Surgical Hospital and Surgicare Specialty Hospital.
