Allie Christie was born in Des Moines, Iowa, and has proudly called Corpus Christi home since marrying a local native. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Louisiana State University in New Orleans in 2013, and shortly after, moved to San Diego with her husband to enjoy the sun and surf. There, she began her nursing career, and for the next seven years, Allie enjoyed working as a pediatric cardiovascular ICU nurse and neonatal ICU nurse. 

 

In the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, Allie and her husband made the decision to return to Corpus Christi. She began serving the community as a neonatal transport nurse at Spohn South Hospital and later transitioned into trauma care in the Emergency Department at Corpus Christi Medical Center. 

 

Driven by a desire to make a broader impact, Allie pursued her Master of Science in Nursing at Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi, graduating in May of 2025. She was awarded the Outstanding Graduate Student of her class. She is now a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). 

 

Allie is passionate about delivering evidence-based, patient-centered care and works with both operative and non-operative patients to create individualized treatment plans that lead to positive outcomes. She is an active member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners and the Coastal Bend Advanced Practice Nurses.
