Camille Barton is a Board Certified Physician Assistant and has practiced in Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine since graduating. She is part of the Medical Staff, along with Dr. Schlimmer and Dr. Patterson, who cares for the Texas A&M Kingsville Javelinas and the Texas A&M CC Islanders as well as our area semi-professional sports teams.

ABOUT CAMILLE BARTON

Camille is a native of Benavides, Texas and a graduate of Benavides High School. She moved to Austin to attend The University of Texas where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology. While at UT, she was a member of the Longhorn Powerlifting Team and was the 1991 Collegiate National Champion in two of three powerlifting events.

She earned her post graduate degree in North Carolina at The Wake Forest University School of Medicine Physician Assistant Program and graduated with honors in 2001. She is Board Certified and has practiced in Orthopaedic Surgery and Sports Medicine since graduating. While practicing at Round Rock Orthopaedics, she was part of the medical staff for the Round Rock Express baseball team from 2001–2003. She then worked at North Austin Sports Medicine until joining the Orthopaedic Center of Corpus Christi in 2010.

Since joining the Practice, her qualifications and years of experience have made her an integral part of the practice, not only taking care of patients in the clinic, and hospital, but also taking care of the area High School and Collegiate athletes. She is part of the Medical Staff, along with Dr Schlimmer and Dr Patterson, who cares for the Texas A&M Kingsville Javelinas, the Texas A&M CC Islanders and the area semi‐professional sports teams.

She is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. She is Board Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Camille enjoys cattle ranching with her husband and father. She also enjoys hunting, fishing and traveling. She has two precious dogs named Carli and Luci.
